Announcers Bring Cricket Undone

It never ceases to amaze me that the broadcasters of Australian cricket fill the commentary box with the greatest assembly of cricket misfits one can imagine, and continually broadcast to the rest of the world that the umpires, who are there to manage the game, are wrong.
Cricket stopped being a decent sport when TV broadcasting was taken away from the ABC. Now all we have is a commercial dog's breakfast. I think cricket umpire Steve Bucknor is an honourable man who has had his career dashed by a mob of subcontinent complainers who can pack up and leave any time soon.As for Cricket Australia, I well remember when one of their selectors refused to meet Illawarra kids at a shopping centre and was shamed into a quick mind change by the Mercury.Dave Cox, Corrimal East.
