THE 2008 Tropfest short film festival will be broadcast live via satellite at Singleton next month.

It is the second time the festival has been broadcast at Singleton and the free event is made possible by the digital projector provided to Majestic Cinemas through the Federal Government's Regional Digital Screen Network.

The broadcast will be held on Sunday, February 17, at 6.30pm. Tropfest 2008 will take place in the Domain in Sydney.
